Woodlem Park School, Al Jurf

Set over 2 floors, this school is designed to house a total of 4,230 students from KG to 12th standard. Equipped with state of the art auditorium, labs and library, this facility aims to be a safe hub for learning and growth for young students. Large, covered and open play areas separate for boys and girls, develops physical coordination, strength, and flexibility, as well as provides recreation and enjoyment for the children.

The outer façade of the school mimics brick cladding reminiscent of the long-standing schools of the past giving an old school charm to the building. The school is built in many phases for ease of construction. The overall design of the school uses, regular geometric forms to create balance and convey a sense of effortless grace along the exterior façade of the project. Natural light is brought into the classrooms using strategically placed large openings at the same time tents assembled in the playgrounds diffuse and refract the harsh sunlight entering the classrooms.
